Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates: mobility
Slow core work mixed with stretches you can repeat at your desk.
When
Taught by

Slow core work mixed with stretches you can repeat at your desk. The aim is a body that moves easily, not a body that is worn out.
We spend time on hips, spine and shoulders, with Pilates control and a few longer holds. Each exercise has a simple version and a harder one.
It is a good partner to a strength or running routine, and a good habit for people who sit all day.
What to expect
A short warm-up for the spine.
Core and mobility exercises on the mat, one flowing into the next.
Stretches to cool down, and a take-home move to try later.
Good for
Anyone who sits a lot, and anyone recovering their range of motion
What to bring
Comfortable clothes. Mats and small props are provided.
